Ingredients

  • 750 ml rosé wine chilled
  • 2 tablespoons honey or simple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 cup fresh berries strawberries, raspberries or blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice optional, adds brightness

Equipment

  • Freezer
  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Pour the chilled rosé into a shallow container and stir in honey or simple syrup until fully dissolved.
  2. Add the fresh berries and lemon juice to the mixture, then gently stir to combine, allowing the fruit to infuse some flavor.
  3. Place the container in the freezer and let it firm up for about 2-3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to break up ice crystals and promote a smooth texture.
  4. Once the mixture is mostly frozen but still scoopable, transfer it to a blender.
  5. Blend the mixture until it reaches a smooth, slushy consistency, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  6. Pour the blended slushie into glasses, allowing any remaining ice crystals to settle slightly before serving.
  7. Garnish with additional berries or a lemon wedge if desired, then serve immediately for a refreshing, frosty treat.

Notes

Adjust sweetness and fruit choices to personal preference. For a thicker texture, freeze longer and blend again for a smoother finish.
