Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberry pieces or crushed freeze-dried strawberries
  • 1 cup brewed cold brew coffee cooled to room temperature
  • 2 cups ice cubes adjust based on desired consistency
  • 1 tablespoon honey or simple syrup optional, for sweetness

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Measure out the freeze-dried strawberries and set aside. Brew a fresh cup of coffee and let it cool completely to prevent melting the ice too quickly.
  2. Add the cooled coffee, freeze-dried strawberries, honey (if using), and ice cubes to the blender.
  3. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and frosty, about 30-45 seconds. You should see a vibrant pink color with a thick, slushy texture.
  4. Stop the blender and check the consistency; add more ice if you prefer it thicker, then blend briefly again.
  5. Taste the slushie and add more honey or sweetener if desired, then give it one last quick blend to incorporate.
  6. Pour the frozen strawberry cold brew slushie into glasses, ensuring a generous amount of ice-y goodness in each.
  7. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon to enjoy the icy, flavor-packed beverage.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the ice amount for your preferred thickness. For extra flavor, add a splash of milk or a sprinkle of crushed freeze-dried strawberries on top.
