- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 1-inch cubes.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and olive oil until well combined.
- Add the tofu cubes to the bowl and toss gently to coat each piece evenly with the spicy marinade.
- Let the tofu marinate for at least 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Arrange the marinated tofu cubes on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they aren’t touching too much for even crisping.
- Bake the tofu for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the tofu from the oven and let it cool slightly; it will become crunchier as it cools.
- Serve the spicy roasted tofu hot, garnished with fresh herbs or a squeeze of lime if desired.
Notes
For extra crunch, toss the baked tofu in a little cornstarch before baking. Adjust spice levels by increasing or decreasing sriracha.
